The C-Hawk 33″ YOW surfskate was made in collaboration with the surf brand Christenson, it is the skate equivalent of Christenson's top performing fish surfboard.
Christenson and YOW combined their own experience in designing surfskate shapes to recreate the rail-to-rail feel you can get from surfing the C-Hawk, while maintaining a similar shape and aesthetic.
To accomplish this, the widest part of the deck was drawn 4 inches behind the front truck and it was stretched almost to the tail, then the trucks to a distance of 17.85 inches for the wheelbase. We highly recommend trying different foot placements to get a different feel - for a narrower stance, try placing the front foot where the widest part of the board ends.
Molded with a tail rocker and a medium concave that gives you enough grip to keep your feet moving. Mounted with the Meraki system (S5) and 66x51mm 80A (medium) Ura wheels, which give you enough grip to make controlled turns while helping you execute slides.
