Combining a lightweight construction with supportive materials and quality blade components, these Bauer Vapor intermediate ice hockey skates help players develop their skating technique and confidence.

Suitable for regular training sessions and competitive games, the Bauer Vapor Select Intermediate offers a practical balance of comfort, stability and performance.

Digi Comp Construction – Lightweight Support and Responsiveness

The Bauer Vapor Select Intermediate Skates feature Digi Comp quarter panels designed to balance flexibility, durability and structural support.

This construction helps stabilize the foot while allowing the movement required for acceleration, turning and lateral skating.

The Digi Comp outsole complements the boot structure to support effective energy transfer and consistent skating control.

Heat-Moldable Boot for a Personalized Fit

The heat-moldable Bauer Vapor Select boot can be shaped through an appropriate heat-fitting process to better accommodate the player's foot.

This feature helps improve foot wrapping, support and overall skating comfort.

A properly fitted pair of intermediate Bauer hockey skates is essential for achieving reliable stability and efficient skating mechanics.

Memory Foam Ankle Padding and Enhanced Comfort

The Bauer Vapor Select Intermediate Hockey Skates include several comfort-focused features designed for regular ice hockey use.

• Memory foam ankle padding: provides cushioned support around the ankle area.
• Comfort felt tongue: offers padding over the top of the foot beneath the laces.
• Sublimated interior lining: provides a finished interior suited to athletic use.
• Medium-density foam footbed: delivers underfoot cushioning and support.

Together, these components make the Bauer Vapor Select Intermediate Skates a comfortable and supportive choice for developing hockey players.

TUUK Lightspeed Edge Holder – Reliable Blade Control

The Bauer Vapor Select Intermediate features the TUUK Lightspeed Edge blade holder, a well-established system in ice hockey equipment.

Its quick-release mechanism allows compatible runners to be replaced efficiently, making blade maintenance and replacement more convenient.

The holder supports controlled edge engagement and precise skating movements during demanding on-ice situations.

LS+ Steel Runners – Edge Control and Smooth Gliding

Equipped with Bauer LS+ steel runners, the Vapor Select Intermediate provides the blade setup needed for controlled gliding and responsive edge transitions.

These runners support essential skating movements, including:

• Acceleration: controlled and powerful skating strides.
• Sharp turns: precise directional changes and edge engagement.
• Forward-to-backward transitions: technical skating movements.
• Stopping and braking: controlled edge contact with the ice.

Proper blade sharpening helps optimize grip, glide and overall skating performance.
