The Storage Straps are used whenever your skates are NOT on your feet. The Storage Straps help to train the Skate to provide more lateral support to the sides of the Ankles. Many times they are placed on the bottom hook, the smallest set of holes, and with the tongue pulled forward, placed behind the tongue.
